Dominic Ongwen, a commander of the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army
(LRA), is under trial in The Hague for crimes against humanity and war
crimes.
This comes as the prosecutor in the case asked for more time to confirm the charges against Ongwen.
It is hoped that the release of the documents is a key step in
helping the public understand Ongwen’s case that has been muddled in
different ways.
According to the court order, the 21 documents will be accessed by the public from the ICC website.
